Dandy Smith
Dandy Smith is a best-selling author of domestic thrillers. Her third novel, The Wrong Daughter, became a #2 Kindle bestseller, selling over 400,000 copies since its release in February 2024. The TV rights have been optioned by French production company Quad Drama, known for The Bonfire of Destiny and Vortex.

Her most recent novel, The Wedding Vow, was released in March 2025, with the audio book narrated by Downton Abbey actor Tuppence Middleton.

Dandy studied Creative Writing at Bath Spa University, earning both her undergraduate and master’s degrees. In 2021, her debut novel, One Small Mistake, was published by Embla Books, an imprint of Bonnier. Since then, her novels have been published in Australia by Echo Books and in America by Kensington Books. Dandy's novels have been translated into Czech, French, Finnish, Bulgarian, Polish, Romanian and Russian.

Originally from Kettering, Northamptonshire, Dandy now resides in Somerset with her husband and two cocker spaniels. Besides writing, she enjoys all things aerial fitness, true-crime and Gilmore Girls.
